形態特徵

Tufted perennials. Culms pendent, ca. 2-6 mm in diam.
Sheaths usually longer than internode, tightly clothing culm, glabrous. Ligule 0.5 mm long, fimbriate on upper margin, hispid on dorsal side. Blades 11-22 cm long, 9-12 mm wide, basal parts covered with long silky hairs.
Panicle open, 10-30 cm long. Spikelets 2-5-flowered, ca. 6 mm long.
Glumes subcoriaceous, siliceous, 3-nerved, rarely 4-nerved; lower glume ca. 3 mm long, apex acute, upper glume ca. 4 mm long, apex gradually narrowed; lemma 3-5.25 mm long, 3-7-nerved, awn 2-3.75 mm long, basal part silky hairy which are nearly as long as lemma; palea 2.5-3.5 mm long, 2-keeled, margins hispid, apex with a sinus; lodicules 2, truncate, conspicuously nerved, stamens 3. Anthers 1.5-2 mm long.

台灣 : Occasional in dry grasslands and on rocky cliffs.
世界 : The Ryukyus, Taiwan and the Philippines (Samar).
